This is my latest "work".
I have been experimenting with the same structure...changing materials, changing the dimension of the structure. The first scarf I made was with cotton and silk, but it seemed a bit fragile for everyday use. The final scarf is with wool, merino and silk. It feels luxurious, but not too fragile. I am happy with the result!
It is very difficult to capture the colours. In real it looks a bit like a feather of a peacock.
And here is a detail on the loom: unfortunately it changes when it comes of the loom.
It also makes me think of the Ennis textile blocks from Frank Lloyd Wright!
