A long weekend... I learned to know the beauty of the Kluisbergen , two long walks..... especially with the autumn colours.
This is really what I like about my new home...
And then we went to Antwerp to the exhibition about Craigie Horsefield.

On our way home I got an idea,(the beauty of the flemish ardennes, in combination with beauty of what I saw this afternoon!)  I had already threaded my loom, but now I want to rethread....a lot of work, 30thr/inch, 28 inch.....But I think I will do it, ....why not? And of course I bought the book in the "Craigie" exhibition!

The good old "sig vat" ......especially with wool I have very good results.
A lot of patience is needed, during one month I soak the wool 24 hours in the vat, afterwards airing it during 24 hours.

I like this kind of "slow" living.....no worries you know in advance that this method is slow;

I finished it 3 weeks ago, but I am definitely not good in keeping this up to date!

I don't know if my daughter likes it, but the cats certainly do!

"First Weaving"

Weaving a scarf for my daughter, my first project after moving to another place and of course after my car accident!

The reason for this blog: my car accident on May 17 , I have to rest, I have more time as usually.
I was the driver of the old R4.
I like to follow weaver's blogs, but never thought about doing it myself. Starting is ok, but will I be able to continue?
